Wow the past few weeks have been extremely busy! I’ve been getting stuck into my backlog of bespoke orders. Bracelets and earrings for leaving do’s, special treats, retirements and so on that at one point I thought I was going to need to hire an elf to help me keep up with all the making! July has also been a great and new opportunity for me to have some of my stock displayed in a marvellous new local retail outlet. A rustic, friendly brand new little haberdashery shop called ‘From Rags To Stitches’ that’s just opened up in the courtyard in Tickhill, Doncaster.
The shop’s been beautifully decked out, is clean, spacious and is a refreshing change to some of the cramped and dowdy craft stores you sometimes find yourself in. Downstairs you’ll find a stunning range of fabrics, wools and trimmings, all the staples a crafter might need to help keep them afloat in their art! Upstairs hosts a range of unique, diverse, crafter’s works; individual gifts for all occasions; elegantly displayed upon the vintage dressers and ornate cabinets. There are also regular craft workshops being held if you feel the urge to go and learn a particular skill that you’ve always fancied doing or improving upon… Bye for now,
